State authorities add San Antonio-linked parole violator to high-profile fugitive list

Texas law enforcement officials have added Jamie Nicholas Wilson to the Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitives list, describing him as a documented gang member with ties to Bexar County and the city of San Antonio. The listing carries a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to his arrest.

Wilson is wanted on two warrants: a parole-violation warrant tied to an original controlled-substance offense and a separate Bexar County warrant alleging tampering with an electronic monitoring device. State officials caution that he should be considered armed and dangerous and have urged the public not to attempt to apprehend him.

Who authorities say they are looking for

Wilson is described as a Black male born Feb. 25, 1989, standing 6 feet 4 inches tall and weighing about 250 pounds. Officials report tattoos on his head, face, and both arms. The state’s public listing indicates no known alias and notes a lack of a listed last-known address, while identifying San Antonio as his last-known city.

Criminal history and supervision timeline outlined by officials

The public bulletin states that Wilson has been documented as a Black Gangster Disciple Nations gang member. Officials also outline a criminal record that includes convictions for controlled-substance possession in 2017 and 2019, as well as a 2021 conviction for assault of a pregnant person that resulted in a four-year probation sentence.

Authorities say that probation was revoked in November 2022 and that Wilson was sentenced to four years of confinement. The public listing further states he was released on parole from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice in February 2025.

According to the state’s account, the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles issued a warrant for his arrest on June 10, 2025, for parole violation related to the original controlled-substance offense. A second warrant was issued out of Bexar County on June 12, 2025, alleging tampering with an electronic monitoring device.

How the reward program works

Texas officials say the reward is available only when tips are submitted through designated channels that protect anonymity. Tipsters are assigned a number rather than using a name, and anonymity is described as guaranteed by law.

  • Reward amount listed: up to $5,000
  • Wanted allegations: parole violation (original offense: possession of a controlled substance); tampering with an electronic monitoring device
  • Law-enforcement caution: considered armed and dangerous

Officials have emphasized that members of the public should not attempt to arrest fugitives themselves and should instead provide information through authorized tip channels.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Texas Crime Stoppers at 1-800-252-TIPS (8477), submit a web tip through the Texas 10 Most Wanted program, or use the DPS mobile application to provide details anonymously.
