Bexar County Sheriff’s Office seeks help locating missing 17-year-old Adrian Lelo Gomez Jr. after March 6

What is known about the missing-person report
Bexar County authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating Adrian Lelo Gomez Jr., 17, who was reported missing after he left his residence in the northeast part of the county on Friday, March 6. Investigators say he was last seen at about 7:30 a.m. when he departed from a home in the 10900 block of Dewlap Trail.
The sheriff’s office has described the teenager as approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall and about 220 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair featuring a red streak on top. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black jeans and black shoes, and may also have been wearing a black San Antonio Spurs T-shirt.
Authorities said he has a cell phone but did not have it with him when he went missing, a detail that can complicate efforts by family or investigators to confirm his location and communicate directly.

The case is being worked by the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office Missing Persons Unit. Authorities are seeking information from anyone who may have seen the teen, recognized his clothing description, or observed him in the Dewlap Trail area and surrounding neighborhoods on March 6.
The sheriff’s office has also warned that individuals who conceal, harbor, or help hide a missing juvenile may face criminal charges. Officials urged anyone who has contact with the teen or information about his whereabouts to share it promptly with investigators.

Why timing matters in missing-juvenile cases

Authorities continue to ask residents and businesses in northeast Bexar County to preserve any recordings that could assist the search and to report credible tips directly to law enforcement.
