Five touring productions will make their San Antonio debut in the 2025-26 lineup

Broadway in San Antonio has announced its 2025-26 season at the Majestic Theatre, a 10-title slate that mixes new touring launches, familiar long-running favorites, and a returning blockbuster. Five of the scheduled touring productions are billed as first-time appearances in the city, expanding the range of recent Broadway titles available to local audiences without requiring travel to New York or other major touring hubs.

The season opens with “Kimberly Akimbo” (Sept. 23–28, 2025), followed by “The Outsiders” (Oct. 28–Nov. 2, 2025) and Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” (Nov. 19–30, 2025). A holiday run of “Elf” is scheduled for Dec. 23–28, 2025. The winter-to-spring portion includes “Water for Elephants” (Jan. 20–25, 2026) and “A Beautiful Noise: The Neil Diamond Musical” (Feb. 24–March 1, 2026). The season concludes with “& Juliet” (July 7–12, 2026) and “Hamilton” (July 28–Aug. 9, 2026).

What’s new, what’s returning, and how the package is structured

The five titles identified as San Antonio debuts in the announced schedule are “Kimberly Akimbo,” “The Outsiders,” “Water for Elephants,” “A Beautiful Noise,” and “& Juliet.” The lineup also includes the return of “Hamilton,” scheduled for a summer engagement that marks another stop for the touring production at the Majestic.

Two additional productions—“TINA: The Tina Turner Musical” (April 3–4, 2026) and “Chicago” (May 1–2, 2026)—are listed as season options that can be added to subscription packages rather than being part of the core subscription lineup.

  • Season opener: “Kimberly Akimbo” (Sept. 23–28, 2025)

  • Holiday engagement: “Elf” (Dec. 23–28, 2025)

  • Winter shows: “Water for Elephants” (Jan. 20–25, 2026) and “A Beautiful Noise” (Feb. 24–March 1, 2026)

  • Summer close: “& Juliet” (July 7–12, 2026) and “Hamilton” (July 28–Aug. 9, 2026)

Access and pricing details announced with the season

Subscription renewals and sales are being structured around an eight-show package, with the two spring titles (“TINA” and “Chicago”) positioned as add-on options. Base subscription pricing has been announced starting at $285, and individual-show ticket on-sale timing is expected later.

All dates and engagements are subject to change.

The 2025-26 schedule places multiple Tony Award-winning titles early in the season and concentrates major, high-demand engagements in the summer, a pattern commonly used in touring Broadway programming to balance subscriber value, holiday attendance, and peak-season demand.
