Why the case matters
Hit-and-run investigations often depend on a combination of physical evidence, witness accounts and video from nearby businesses or passing vehicles. In heavily trafficked commercial areas like La Cantera, investigators frequently urge anyone who may have been driving through the area around the time of the crash to review dash camera footage and report relevant information, even if the details seem minor.
Authorities have not announced any arrests in connection with the incident.
