Dates and venues

The 2026 San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo is scheduled to run from Feb. 12 through March 1 at the Frost Bank Center and Freeman Coliseum grounds. The event combines PRCA rodeo performances inside the arena with daily fairgrounds attractions that include livestock shows, shopping, food vendors, and multiple live-music areas on the property.

Fairgrounds and carnival hours

Organizers list standard grounds-gate hours as 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The final Sunday, March 1, is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Carnival hours are posted separately: 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Friday; 10 a.m. to midnight Saturday; and 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday. The final Sunday, March 1, is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Shops at the Rodeo are scheduled for 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Ticket types and what they include

Fairgrounds admission is sold as a separate ticket from arena events. A fairgrounds ticket covers entry to the grounds and access to features such as Expo Hall shopping, food vendors and scheduled fairgrounds entertainment, but it does not include admission to the rodeo and concert inside the Frost Bank Center.

Rodeo-and-concert tickets are sold by performance and generally bundle three components: an arena seat for the rodeo, entry to the concert that follows, and fairgrounds access on the same day.

  • Fairgrounds (adult ages 13–64): $15, with an advance-purchase option listed at $13
  • Fairgrounds (child ages 3–12): $5
  • Fairgrounds (senior 65+): $5
  • Fairgrounds (military): free entry with military ID

Carnival pricing and purchase rules

Carnival wristbands are listed at $43 on weekdays and $53 on any day, with optional Fast Pass add-ons shown at $63 and $73, respectively. Carnival tickets are scheduled to be available at the carnival starting opening day, Feb. 12, with limited advance-purchase windows described by organizers for wristbands.

Promotions and discount days

Several promotions are scheduled during the 2026 run, including three “Thrifty Thursdays” on Feb. 12, Feb. 19 and Feb. 26 that list $3 fairgrounds admission (excluding arena events). Those dates are also advertised with discounted carnival rides and select food pricing. College students are also slated to receive free fairgrounds admission on those Thursdays with a valid student ID.

Visitors planning around discounts should confirm that fairgrounds promotions are separate from rodeo-and-concert admission inside the Frost Bank Center.

Planning tips for arrival

Parking is sold as a separate product with date-specific rules, and organizers describe multiple options, including lots and a shuttle service. Attendees are encouraged to review schedules in advance because fairgrounds hours, carnival hours and arena start times operate on different timetables throughout the run.
