KSAT-TV reporter Madalynn Lambert has joined the “Good Morning San Antonio” team as a reporter, adding to a morning newscast that has undergone multiple staffing updates in recent months and years. Lambert is a San Antonio native and a graduate of Judson High School.

Lambert completed her bachelor’s degree in journalism at the University of Texas at Austin in 2024. Her early career path included work with the university’s student broadcast programs and an internship in Austin before she joined KSAT.

Lambert started at KSAT in July 2024 as a news trainee. She moved into a “content gatherer” role in September 2024, and was later promoted to reporter in January 2025. In 2024, KSAT announced adjustments to “Good Morning San Antonio,” including Japhanie Gray joining as a co-host starting Aug. 5, 2024, with traffic anchor RJ Marquez and meteorologist Justin Horne in the early morning hours, along with additional on-air responsibilities for other members of the team later in the morning schedule.

KSAT has also made other staffing moves connected to the morning lineup, including the addition of Ernie Zuniga in a permanent anchor role on “Good Morning San Antonio,” reflecting an ongoing effort by the station to shape its weekday morning presentation and coverage structure.
