Full Closure on Eastbound I-10

One of the most impactful disruptions today is the full closure of the eastbound main lanes of Interstate 10 at FM 1518. According to official TxDOT reports, this closure is necessary for the removal and replacement of fire-damaged concrete. The eastbound lanes are scheduled to remain closed until 5:00 p.m. this evening. Traffic is being detoured from the FM 1518 exit ramp and can re-enter at the Zuehl entrance ramp. The Loop 1604 North Expansion Project continues to cause headaches for North Side residents. This weekend, a multiday series of nightly and localized daytime closures is in effect. Specifically, the intersection of I-10 and La Cantera Parkway is subject to nightly shutdowns, though lingering equipment and lane shifts may slow traffic during daylight hours. Additionally, the eastbound Loop 1604 exit ramp to Valero Way will be closed starting at 9:00 p.m. tonight. I-35 NEX and Northeast Side Closures

On the far Northeast Side, the I-35 NEX project is moving forward with bridge work. While the full main lane closure at Schertz Parkway was scheduled to reopen by 7:00 a.m. this morning, expect residual delays as crews clear the area.
