Weekend distribution scheduled at Boeing Center at Tech Port

The San Antonio Food Bank and Boeing are partnering on a mobile food distribution set for Saturday, Feb. 7, 2026, at the Boeing Center at Tech Port, 3331 General Hudnell Drive. Organizers set the start time for 9 a.m. and said the event is intended to support households facing food insecurity in San Antonio.

Organizers said 600 households are expected to receive groceries. The distribution is planned to include fresh fruits and vegetables, pantry staples, proteins and dairy items. Pre-registration is recommended, though it is not required to participate.

Grant funding and a multi-event plan

The distribution is supported by a $100,000 Boeing grant. Organizers described the Saturday event as the second of four planned distributions designed to expand access to food assistance in low-income areas of San Antonio. Details on the remaining scheduled distributions were not included in the public event information.

How mobile distributions fit into a larger regional network

The mobile model is one of several ways the San Antonio Food Bank moves food into communities, alongside an established network of partner nonprofits and direct-service programs. The food bank’s service area spans 29 counties in Southwest Texas, and its partnerships include more than 500 charitable and community organizations that distribute food locally.

Across its operations, the organization has reported serving about 105,000 individuals per week through its network and programs and distributing more than 74 million meals in its most recently reported fiscal year. It has also reported processing over one million pounds of food per week through its warehouse operations.

What participants should expect on site

Mobile food distributions in San Antonio commonly operate as drive-through events, with volunteers and staff directing traffic flow and loading food into vehicles. Organizers noted that arriving early can be important because distribution is tied to available inventory and the pace of onsite processing.
